Zimbabwe- Kariba Vundu Fishing

'The Smoke That Thunders'. And this is a low water conditions too. Hard to imagine what it's like in a flood.		I wonder how many Tigerfish live there lives out un-troubled down there?

Another lump from the lake, and Steve gave birth to a litter of them shortly after this photo was taken.

And it laid on the deck of the boat making noises like a horse farting. Nice.	43lb Vundu catfish from Senyati Gorge on Lake Kariba, which for some reason ate a bar of soap!
		And I bet I know where that lump of Hyacinth ends up.

We weren't the only ones fishing...		Unhooking a small cat. Our guide wanted to take this for a meal, which he did. He slung it in the front of the boat, and the fish was still alive some 2 hours later, even though the temperatures were well over 40 degrees. Hardy little sods!
